In order to solve the problem presented in our unit, the kinders designed a paint tool that they will then get to use with Ms. Chmura in art!

Our Day 3 class learned about the immune system and created presentations using various digital media tools to teach others about its features.

Day 1 and Day 2 classes are learning how the robot brains, controllers, bumper switch, LED and color sensor work.

The final sense we tested was our sense of sight.  The Stroop test proved to be a challenge!

Our third grade engineers were tasked to build an inclined plane, pulley, and lever with their groups.  Most of our groups were able to meet the deadline and completed all three.

After studying types of erosion, we performed an experiment using sand trays to model wind, earthquakes, rain, and glaciers.  We found that the most damage was done during heavy rains and earthquakes.

Our first grade classes worked with a partner to animate the story of the 3 Little Pigs.

The Big, Bad, Wolf came to visit and tried to blow our houses down!

Day 1 and Day 2 classes were asked to design a toy and then presented their toy using persuasive language to try and sell the toy to the class.

Our fourth graders are spending several sessions using each of their five senses in experiments.  They are then responsible for determining which part of the brain controls each sense.
