3rd Grade – Investigating Stem Color

For our final activity, we were able to grow baby plants.  The students had to investigate why some of the F2 plants had both green and purple stems when P1 and P2 had only purple stems.  We used the Punnett Square to see all of the possible outcomes and it helped us formulate our conclusion.
