Now that we understand the words “genotype”and “phenotype”, we applied this knowledge by visiting 8 stations to create a baby plant.  Students picked a gene from the mother bag and father bag to create a new genotype for the baby plant.  Teams then created the baby plant based on the phenotypes they recorded at the stations.
