The fourth grade students participated in a mystery science lesson to answer the question:  Could a volcano pop up in your backyard?  They used Google Maps to plot the locations of volcanoes around the world and then filled out a Google Form that asked them questions to reflect on the lesson.  They discovered that volcanoes tend to follow patterns and it is unlikely that one would pop up in Hudsonville.
