Open House and Donor’s Choose

Our classroom is ready for a new year.  Be sure to stop by and say hello.  Please consider donating to our classroom Donors Choose project – see details below.

I want to make sure my students have what they need to succeed, so I just created a DonorsChoose classroom project request.  Click the link below to see what my student and I are up to:

Wobble While You Work!:

Early contributions are critical, and any amount helps.  Thank you so much for taking a look and considering a donation.  I am so excited to bring this project to life!

With gratitude,

Mrs. Totten

P.S. If you know anyone who may want to show their support, please pass this along.

Third Grade – Digital Citizenship

The third grade classes learned about their digital footprint.  As detectives, they had to see if Mizzle the Mouse or Electra the Elephant posted private information to the Internet.  They were then able to use their new logon information to navigate the STEAM Studio webpage.

Fourth Grade – Get to Know You

Fourth grade used QR codes to post answers to Would You Rather questions to our class Padlet.  This was a great way for students to interview one partner, but read about all of their classmates!  Unfortunately the free version only allows three Padlets, so I took screen shots of some of Mrs. Estefan’s class.

Third Grade – Get to Know You

Our third grade students took to the halls to find QR codes that they scanned with their iPads.  Each code linked to a question that they asked a partner.  Answers were recorded and shared back in the classroom.
